As Summer continues on, our train schedule at Campo is changing. Starting this weekend and continuing through October 3rd, the Golden State Limited will depart Campo only on Saturday afternoons at 5:00pm. The museum grounds will still be open both weekend days for you to enjoy our collection of historic railroad artifacts. On Saturdays, the museum grounds are open from 12:oopm until 7:00pm. On Sundays, the museum grounds are open from 10:00am until 3:00pm.
The summer’s reduced train schedule allows us to put in extra work on our railroad and museum restoration efforts. It is also a great time for you to get involved as a volunteer at the Pacific Southwest Railway Museum or the La Mesa Depot! We cannot continue the monumental task of maintaining two operating museums without your help. If you would like to join in lending a hand at either of our facilities, you only need to be a member of the PSRMA. More information on volunteering is available at psrm.org/volunteer. Remember, North Pole Limited tickets go on sale to the general public starting July 1. Don’t forget about our Pumpkin Express Trains which celebrate the spooky Halloween season. Tickets are already on sale for the Pumpkin Express trains for this October.
