The Pumpkin Express returns to the creepy confines of the Campo Railroad Park and Museum Saturdays and Sundays during October. First, ride the train in one of our vintage railroad coaches or in our first class lounge car ATSF 1509. Then, detrain at our haunted Display Building where you can walk through our two haunted trains (one meant to spook you and the other tame for our younger visitors), pick out a pumpkin at the pumpkin patch, and other arts and crafts. More information is available at psrm.org/pumpkin.
Due to circumstances out of our control, we will run the Valley Flyer caboose train Saturday, July 6 only starting around 11:30. You can read more about the Valley Flyer at PSRM.org/valley-flyer
Our regular Golden State train schedule will resume on Sunday, July 7 with trains at 11:00, 1:15, and 3:00. Thanks for your understanding.
PSRMA wishes to thank all 2,735 passengers who rode with us in 8 days on the Pumpkin Express
trains during 2018. This was by far our highest ridership ever for this event. We sincerely hope you’ll consider joining us again in 2019 for more family fun, spooky trains, and San Diego history.
