Escape to the breathtaking beauty of the Campo countryside aboard the Backcountry Wine Train, the ONLY wine train experience in Southern California! Enjoy a 90-minute journey through dramatic high desert chaparral landscapes as you indulge in a sommelier-curated tasting of six exceptional local wines. Your experience includes a personal charcuterie snack and decadent dessert, creating the perfect pairing for this unique 21 and over adventure.

Classic Coach – $100
Passengers riding in Coach Class enjoy the Backcountry Wine Train from one of our restored 1920s vintage commuter cars. The large tables accommodate up to four guests. Get a group of friends together or make some new friends!
First Class – $150
Those looking for a premium travel experience may want to consider purchasing First Class train tickets on our Santa Fe lounge car #1509. In addition to the standard service, guests receive a glass of sparkling wine (or nonalcoholic cider) upon boarding. In addition to table seating, those riding in first-class may also step out onto the open-air platform or enjoy a glass of wine or two in the parlor area.
VIP on the Robert Peary – $2,500 (whole car)
Indulge in luxury aboard the Robert Peary, our VIP presidential passenger car. Book this ultra-private car for up to 10 friends and be treated to personalized table-side service in your own dining room with a private server. Fresh flowers, real champagne, and special treats await! In addition to the dining room, VIP guests may also step out onto the open-air platform or enjoy a glass of wine or two in the parlor area.
This is a 21 and over event.
