The Museum is seeking donations to commence the restoration of Southern Pacific 7304. The first phase will include work to get the engine started and includes battery work, fluid testing and replacement, cleaning of the engine compartment and prime mover, some electrical work and a complete pre-lube.

Here is your opprtunity to help! We are starting a fund raiser with hopes of raising the needed $5000 for the first phase of the complete restoration of this fine and rare locomotive! Many of you either saw or followed the movement of this old ALCo from Portola, Ca to Campo, Ca on several threads on Trainorders.com it was a long trip, but finally arrived at Campo and safely put away into the PSRM yards on July 20, 2005.
